ITINERARY

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar
The date of departure is determined by the international flight to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Arrive at Ulaanbaatar's Chinggis Khaan Airport. Our tour guide will meet you at the airport. Check into your hotel. There is a short city trip in the afternoon. Accommodation: 3-star hotel with complimentary breakfast

Day 2. White Stupa
Our tour starts with the well-known rock feature known as "White Stupa." There was a sea here millions of years ago, as intriguing rock formations with a stunning mix of colors give evidence now. It measures between 30 and 60 meters in height and 400 meters in length. This slope faces eastward toward the sun and rises at a 90-degree angle to the sky. It is not visible from the right since it is flat and placed at the intersection of the middle gobi. The colored layers of the cliff represent different stages in its 10 million-year existence. Accommodation: gercamp. Meals: B, L, and D.

Day 3. Baga Gazriin Chuluu
Baga Gazriin Chuluu (1,768 m) is a spectacular granitic structure surrounded by plains. It is approximately 250 kilometers south of Ulaanbaatar. The main draw here is the crater high above the desert steppe, which offers spectacular views of the area below. There are approximately 20 different types of therapeutic herbs as well as world-rare species such as marmots, ibex, gazelles, and mountain sheep. Accommodation: gercamp. Meals: B, L, and D.

Day 4. Gorkhi Terelj National Park
We will ride to Gorkhi Terelj National Park after breakfast, where we will spend the day examining the magnificent rock formations, visiting the Aryabal meditation temple, and meandering through the beautiful meadows covered with wildflowers. Following lunch, we will take a short drive to visit a local nomadic family and sample homemade dairy products such as yogurt, cheese, curds, and traditional salty milk tea. In addition, we offer horseback riding. Accommodation: Gercamp. Meals: B, L, and D.

Day 5. Ulaanbaatar
We still have time to see the capital after we get to Ulaanbaatar. We can go shopping if we like. We go to a folklore show in the evening, which includes traditional musical instruments, music, dance, a contortionist, and the famed throat singing. Accommodation: 3-star hotel with breakfast included.

Day 6. Departure
Transfer to Chingis Khaan International Airport or the train station and depart Mongolia.
