TRAVEL INFORMATION TO MONGOLIA
We collaborate with the top bases and camps in Mongolia, which provide guests with outstanding levels of comfort and hospitality for the duration of their visit. The interior of the room we provide for guests is simple. Towels, blankets, and bed linens will all be provided by the camp. A table, chair, and clothes hangers will be positioned in the room on either side of the beds. You can utilize showers in the communal built-in bathroom space. Depending on the sort of standard-class accommodation you choose, the available shower and toilet can be in a ger or yurt.
Depending on the class and the number of people on the trip, the vehicle for the trip will be adjusted accordingly. In the case of our drivers, they are seasoned professionals who have many years of experience working with tourists and tour companies, specializing in the roads and routes and car maintenance skills needed for long trips. It takes an average of 3-6 hours to drive a day, depending on the weather conditions and how they affect the dirt roads. We travel an average of 100–350 km per day because of the difference in the quality of the roads. In the event of issues or problems that arise concerning the vehicle, our drivers will make the necessary adjustments and measures and continue the trip without any further delays or problems.
Mongolian traditional cuisine’s main ingredients are meat and dairy products. Due to the harsh climate and temperature changes, our meat consumption rate is very high compared to other countries, but there is nothing to worry about. Most modern-day Mongolian cuisines include a variety of European and Asian dishes as well as a mixture of dishes you can pick and choose from. Most tourist bases and Ulaanbaatar city restaurants have 2-4 stages of serving (salad and soup + main course + desserts).
If you are vegetarian or vegan, all you need to do is let us know prior to the trip so that we can make the necessary adjustments to your meal plan. During the trip, we will provide you with 1.5 liters of water on a daily basis. After consulting with your tour guide, you can buy extra drinks and other personal necessities along the way. You’ll find alcohol, beer, soft drinks, and other beverages being sold at the gercamps.
