ITINERARY

Day 1. Ulaanbaatar
The date of departure is determined by the international flight to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Arrive at Ulaanbaatar's Chinggis Khaan Airport. Our tour guide will meet you at the airport. Check into your hotel. There is a short city trip in the afternoon. Accommodation:4-star hotel with complimentary breakfast

Day 2. White Stupa
Our adventure begins at the famous White Stupa, a stunning rock formation that stands as a testament to Mongolia’s ancient past. Millions of years ago, this area was covered by a sea, and today, the intriguing rock formations with their vibrant layers of color tell the story of its geological evolution. The White Stupa rises dramatically, reaching heights of 30 to 60 meters and stretching 400 meters in length. Its steep, east-facing slope stands at a 90-degree angle, creating a breathtaking sight as it catches the sunlight. Hidden from view on its flat side, it sits at the intersection of the Middle Gobi, adding to its mystique. The colorful layers of the cliff represent different stages of its 10-million-year history, offering a fascinating glimpse into the Earth’s ancient past. After exploring this natural wonder, we’ll settle into a cozy ger camp for the night, enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner as we reflect on the day’s discoveries.

Day 3. Baga Gazriin Chuluu
Baga Gazriin Chuluu (1,768 m) is a spectacular granitic structure surrounded by plains. It is approximately 250 kilometers south of Ulaanbaatar. The main draw here is the crater high above the desert steppe, which offers spectacular views of the area below. There are approximately 20 different types of therapeutic herbs as well as world-rare species such as marmots, ibex, gazelles, and mountain sheep. Accommodation: gercamp. Meals: B, L, and D.

Day 4. Step Back in Time: The 13th Century Theme Camp
Immerse yourself in the golden age of the Mongol Empire at the 13th Century Theme Camp, a living museum that recreates the life and culture of the 13th century. Nestled in the heart of Mongolia’s stunning landscapes, this camp offers a unique opportunity to experience the world of Chinggis Khan and his legendary empire. Here are the highlights of the theme camp:

  • Traditional Ger (Yurt) Stay: Sleep in authentic, handcrafted gers, just as the nomads did centuries ago.
  • Cultural Demonstrations: Watch skilled artisans craft traditional tools, weapons, and clothing using ancient techniques.
  • Historical Reenactments: Witness thrilling displays of archery, horseback riding, and warrior training, bringing the spirit of the Mongol warriors to life.

Day 5. Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
After breakfast, we’ll ride to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, where a day of exploration awaits. Marvel at the park’s magnificent rock formations, visit the serene Aryabal Meditation Temple, and wander through lush meadows blanketed with wildflowers. After lunch, we’ll take a short drive to visit a local nomadic family. Here, you’ll experience their warm hospitality and sample homemade dairy products like yogurt, cheese, curds, and traditional salty milk tea. For those seeking more adventure, we offer horseback riding through the park’s stunning landscapes, giving you a chance to connect with nature in a truly Mongolian way. We’ll spend the night in a cozy ger camp, enjoying breakfast, lunch, and dinner as we reflect on the day’s discoveries. Accommodation: Gercamp. Meals: B, L, and D.

Day 6. Ulaanbaatar
We still have time to see the capital after we get to Ulaanbaatar. We can go shopping if we like. We go to a folklore show in the evening, which includes traditional musical instruments, music, dance, a contortionist, and the famed throat singing. Accommodation: 4-star hotel with breakfast included.

Day 7. Departure
Transfer to Chinggis Khaan International Airport or the train station and depart Mongolia.
